COLUMBUS – Ohio will convey greater than a dozen individuals from a number of the state’s main insurance coverage and banking corporations to help with its problem-fraught unemployment compensation system.

A brand new public-private partnership brings a workforce of 16 specialists to help the Ohio Division of Job and Household Providers, Gov. Mike DeWine introduced Thursday.

The workforce will assist enhance the decision heart, processing claims and fraud detection. The professionals on mortgage come from Fifth Third, Nationwide, Western & Southern Monetary Group, Encova Insurance coverage and KeyBank. 

DeWine stated the partnership was shaped with the assistance of former U.S. Rep. Pat Tiberi, who heads the Ohio Enterprise Roundtable, a nonprofit comprised of Ohio CEOs.
